
Uzm. Dr. Evren EKİNGEN Chief Physician
Dr. Ekingen graduated from Yüzüncü Yıl University Faculty of Medicine in 2005. He worked as a general practitioner, responsible physician, and health group director at the Batman Beşiri District Health Center between 2005 and 2008. In 2013, he completed his specialization in Emergency Medicine at Fırat University Faculty of Medicine and earned the title of Emergency Medicine Specialist. Between 2013 and 2015, he fulfilled his mandatory service at Elazığ Training and Research Hospital. From 2015 to 2019, Dr. Ekingen served as Deputy Chief Physician at Batman Regional State Hospital and took part in the Ministry of Health Pandemic Field Coordination. He served as Chief Physician at Ankara Nallıhan State Hospital between June 2021 and May 2023. Following the February 6, 2023 Kahramanmaraş earthquake, he worked as Coordinating Chief Physician at Kahramanmaraş Necip Fazıl City Hospital and Hatay Hassa State Hospital, contributing to the coordination of emergency healthcare services during the disaster response. Between May 2023 and January 2024, he served as Chief Physician of Ankara Mamak State Hospital. On January 16, 2024, he was appointed as the Provincial Health Director of Antalya. As of May 2025, he has been serving as the Chief Physician of Etimesgut Şehit Sait Ertürk State Hospital. Dr. Ekingen is also a Quality and Accreditation Evaluator for the Ministry of Health and a Healthcare Accreditation Auditor at the TÜSKA Institute. He has published national and international articles, oral presentations, and poster presentations in the field of Emergency Medicine, and has presented at National Emergency Medicine Congresses and scientific symposiums. He is married and has two children.
